What does the Care & Fair label mean?
All our rugs are Care & Fair labelled. Since 1994, the Care & Fair organisation has ensured responsible working conditions for carpet looms in India and Nepal in particular, which ensure that the proud, traditional craftsmanship is kept alive while the weavers and their families have access to schooling, healthcare and adult education, and thus have the opportunity to develop their local communities and ensure equality for women.
