Bolia meets new heights
Jakob Urth is a professional mountaineer, Oh Land is a multitalented musician, Soulland a creative fashion duo and Heima an artist collective on Iceland. And they've all entered into collaborations with Bolia. Because even though we design furniture, we're so much more than a traditional furniture company. Through our creative collaborations, we’re blurring the lines between art, fashion, design, music and now also mountaineering.

The numerous different creative projects we're involved in are all steered by creative, passionate and inspirational individuals. These people may come from different backgrounds, but they all share one thing in common; the courage to define their own unique way, thereby supporting our fundamental philosophy; No One Lives Like You.
And Jakob Urth is no exception. He's a born adventurer, and he always creates his own, sometimes long and winding paths to reach his goal. And this is one of the reasons why, in May 2018, we joined him on his journey to the top of the world's highest mountain – Mount Everest.
Not just any CEO
Over the past few years, our CEO Lars Lyse has also climbed a number of the world's highest mountains – including some together with Jakob Urth, who is a close friend. At least once a year, he goes off on an adventure and returns to Bolia with a backpack filled with exciting experiences, new ideas and renewed energy.
