We design furniture, but we're much more than just a traditional furniture design company. Creativity and individuality are the starting point for all our adventures. This not only applies to our furniture design process, but also when we throw ourselves into new, challenging projects. And in 2018, we've taken our creative partnerships to new heights – quite literally.
Jakob Urth is a professional Danish mountaineer, who over the past 20 years has conquered several ridges, including four of the fourteen peaks that tower more than 8,000 metres above sea level. Our CEO, Lars Lyse Hansen shares Jakob Urth's great passion for mountainous landscapes and has accompanied him on several trips.
Urth is a born adventurer and daredevil, and when he climbs, he prefers to do so without oxygen. In May 2018, he ventured forth on his greatest adventure so far and tried to reach the summit of Mount Everest – without oxygen. Bolia went along for the ride and sponsored the adventure with equipment and moral support.
