In my work I try to express personal fascinations for materials, how they work and how they behave. I try to let other people enjoy the beauty that I see in this through the products that I design.
I have a great interest in physics, biology and chemistry, because they are trying to describe how our nature works. The beauty that lies within the processes and principles of nature, and particularly materials, are my source of inspiration.
Great design is intriguing and beautiful at first sight, but there is a second layer that can only be discovered once you start to look in greater detail. It should always keep a bit of its mystery.
